Internship ProgramThe
Glendale Police Department Student
Internship Program is a formal arrangement between the Glendale Police Department and Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Rd,
Glendale, Wisconsin. It is designed
to provide career insight opportunities for students enrolled in the Nicolet
High School Community Internship Program who have an interest in learning about
the field of Law Enforcement. The
GPD Student Internship Program provides valuable career work experience at the Glendale Police Department under the supervision of an Internship Coordinator in
conjunction with the School Resource Officer and the Nicolet High School
Community Internship coordinator. The
GPD Student Internship will also afford youth the opportunity to work with
and become familiar with various aspects of Law Enforcement as well as the
people who work at the Glendale Police Department. How to Apply For a Glendale

Register for the Nicolet
High School Community Internhsip Program during spring of your junior year.
Please let Mrs. Littig and your Guidance Counselor know of your placement
hopes. Contact the Glendale Police Department or School
Resource Officer, Kelly DeJonge, to discuss your interest in applying for a GPD Student Internship. Complete the
Glendale Police Department Internship Application available at the Glendale Police
Department. Submit your completed application along with a resume
directly to Glendale Police Department or to the School Resource Officer, Kelly DeJonge. Upon
applicant screening, you will be contacted .
Successful candidates will be given a NHS Community Internship placement
for the coming year with the Glendale Police Department. |
